COPAS FARMS PYO
Copas Farms operates
two Pick Your Own farms which collectively extend to 81 acres. One is located on
the outskirts of Cookham in Berkshire and
the other at Iver,
near Slough in Buckinghamshire.
A wide range of fruit
and vegetables are grown, the season beginning with asparagus in
late April/early May
and finishing with apples and sweetcorn in September. Strawberries
and cherries remain firm favourites with our customers.
OPENING TIMES
When visiting our PYO farms it is always advisable to telephone the 24-hour Message
Line
for the farm you are proposing to visit. The Message
Line will give up-to-date information, taking into account any
variants on the standard Opening Times due to weather, availability, etc.
Last entry for picking is ONE HOUR before closing.
(Please do not ask our staff for late entry).

READY PICKED PRODUCE
When open, the shops
offer a selection of
ready picked and frozen fruit and vegetables as well as our own Copas Farms Apple Juice.
We also stock produce in the shop from other
local suppliers. This includes: jams, chutneys,
dressings, quince products, biscuits, cakes, eggs, ice-cream,
sausages and bacon.
|
PRICES
AND MINIMUM CHARGE |
|
Prices can vary according to the Season, although every effort
is made to keep them constant.
A minimum charge of
£2 per Adult and Child (variable depending on availability of crops) is made to enter the PYO fields.
This is only refundable off produce you pick yourself
(not produce from the shop).
If not collected on entry, the charge will be made on exit.
|
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to misunderstandings, we
need to explain that:
-
We are a picking farm. We do not allow eating of any of our fruits and vegetables in the
fields or orchards ( a taste of the fruits you want to buy is
OK).
-
We expect you to pay for all produce picked by you or your
children.
-
We will not tolerate people picking fruit and discarding it in
the fields or the kiosks. You will be expected to pay for it.
